Terms of use

These terms cover Governor at governor.bsvkey.com, run by Embryo Space Inc., doing business as BSVKey ("we"). By using it you agree to them. If you have a separate written agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.
What Governor does
Governor sits in front of your AI provider keys and applies the limits you set: daily, monthly and per-request caps, approval for large requests, a kill switch, outage drills, and a signed audit trail. It estimates cost before each call and measures it after, using list prices.
Your AI provider bill is yours
- Your provider (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI) bills you directly under its own terms. Governor's figures are estimates from list prices; your provider's invoice is the final word.
- Governor is built to stop calls before they pass your caps, but it cannot guarantee that no charge will ever exceed a limit, for example when a provider changes prices or bills something Governor cannot see. You remain responsible for all charges from your providers.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your admin token, Governor keys and .key wallet safe. Anyone holding them can act as you.
- Follow your AI providers' usage policies. Do not use Governor for anything unlawful or to get around a provider's rules.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the service or its limits.
The audit trail
Records are signed and chained so changes can be detected, and cannot be deleted or rewritten. A daily fingerprint may be published on the Bitcoin BSV blockchain. See the privacy page for what is recorded.
Availability
We work to keep Governor running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. If Governor is down, calls routed through it will not reach your provider until it is back. We may change, pause or end the service, and will try to give notice of major changes.
No warranty, and limits on liability
Governor is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or charges from third parties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Governor in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use Governor after a change means you accept it.
